An interval running app with no subscription
Lapwing charges $4.99 one time for the Lifetime unlock, and then never asks again. Some interval apps charge monthly or yearly. Lapwing doesn't.
A run/walk timer tells you when to run and when to walk. That job doesn't change from month to month, so the price shouldn't either. You pay once, roughly what a coffee costs, and the app is yours. No renewal reminder, no "your trial ends tomorrow", no quietly cancelling something in Settings.
And if you never pay at all, that's fine too. The free version still times your intervals, maps your route and shows your splits. Nobody is watching.
Run with your wrist, not your phone
The Lifetime unlock includes the Apple Watch app, which shows your run in progress with heart rate and distance.
- Heart rate and distance on your wrist
- Included in the one $4.99 payment
- Paired with every run you have ever done, synced over iCloud

Lapwing pricing questions
What is free in Lapwing, and what costs money?
Free includes both modes (intervals and free), route map, distance and pace, interval splits on every run, your three most recent runs, a week and month dashboard, and export of any run. The Lifetime unlock costs $4.99 once and adds every run you have ever done, six month and year dashboards, the Apple Watch app with heart rate, and iCloud sync.
Is the Lifetime unlock a subscription?
No. The Lifetime unlock is one payment of $4.99. There is no monthly or yearly fee.
If I don't pay, do I lose my old runs?
No. On the free version, runs older than your three most recent are hidden, never deleted. Unlock Lifetime and every run you have ever done is there.
How do I restore a purchase?
Go to Options, then Restore purchases. Your Lifetime unlock is tied to your Apple ID, so it comes back on any iPhone signed in with the same Apple ID.
Do I need an account to use Lapwing?
No. Lapwing has no account, no sign-up, no trial and no ads, on the free version or the Lifetime unlock.
